SplitCheck ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
Images/Photos: The App allows you to take photos of receipts or select them from your gallery. These images are processed to extract text and line items using Artificial Intelligence.
Ephemeral Processing: Images sent for AI processing are handled ephemerally. We do not store your photos on our servers permanently, and they are not used for any purpose other than providing the core functionality of the app.
The App utilizes third-party AI services (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude). Your receipt images are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to these providers for processing only. These providers do not use your data for training their models according to their safety terms.
The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use the Advertising ID to serve ads. Since we follow the Play Families Policy, ads are filtered to be family-safe and comply with Google's requirements for younger audiences.
Camera & Media: Required to capture or select receipt images. Advertising ID: Used by AdMob for ad delivery.
SplitCheck is safe for all ages. We do not require account creation or collect personally identifiable information. We comply with COPPA and Google Play Families policies.
Since the app does not require accounts or store personal user data on any server, there is no personal data to delete. All image processing is temporary.
